One of my latest things is trying to have the amazing hair I had before I became a mom. After hours of browsing on Pinterest I found out there's a vitamin to keep your hair growing. And not too long ago I was reading an article about how women wear the same hairstyle everyday and pull their hair back tight with a thin elastic, ending up in loss of hair from traction that damaged your thin hairs. I couldn't believe what I was reading! Only because I am one of those women that doesn't have the time (like I used to) to style my hair differently everyday. I mean it takes me like an hour to curl my hair, and even though straightening my hair only takes like 15-20 minutes, I don't do it often because of all the hair that falls out when I do it!
As I was in the mall with my family a while back, I ran into a French inspired store named L'Occitaine I bought a rather small yet very effective hand lotion, during my quick visit, I was given a generous amount of samples! Yay samples! They were a shampoo, conditioner, hair oil and a body lotion. I tried it out a soon as I could, I fell in love with the body lotion, my skin was so soft those two days the sample lasted and don't let me forget to tell you about the hair treatments, can I say AMAZING?! My hair smelled of what a field in France must smell like in the summer. I was in love. I bought the regular size shampoo and conditioner but sadly threw out the hair oil before I caught the exact name, although every time I've been in a store their sales staff is super friendly and really helpful. Either way the products are pretty amazing, I mean I'm not growing new hair or thicker, but my hair is soft and smells good. I was expressing to my dearest Mama about my latest discoveries and she was telling me, it simply has to do with what you eat. Made me feel like a fool for a second, but only because its true! I took biotin (the vitamin I mentioned I saw on Pinterest) but I was growing hair everywhere! Not long thick strands of hair, but peach fuzz where I didn't know I had it.
I have to admit my most recent purchase is Wen, it comes out on infomercials when you're up too early on a Saturday or can't sleep during the week nights. So I ordered it. So far, my hair is really soft! The only thing that I can't get used to is that it's only a conditioner, and other treatments like leave in conditioner and anti frizz spray. Personally I don't feel like I have cleaned my hair unless its been lathered in shampoo, this Wen stuff excluded the whole shampooing process. So far the results are really soft hair, as if I have just gotten it cut, which I'm due for any day now. If you're reading and have amazing hair, give me some of your tips and suggestions to beautiful, full hair.
